Bridget Fortuna
Bridget moved to the area in 2024 and found Barre Balanced shortly after - and with it, the perfect combination of dance and fitness that she had been looking for. Bridget grew up doing gymnastics, then transitioned into competitive cheerleading, where dance, tumbling and stunting became her focus. She attended college at Philadelphia University (now Jefferson) where she discovered a love for fitness - but she was always searching for something that blended the fun of cheer and dance with a great workout. In 2020, Bridget earned both her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) and Street Yoga certifications.
During the week, she works as a paralegal. On weekends, youβll usually find her outside enjoying time with her husband and two children.
Favorite move to teach? Working on thighs! I love targeting both the large and small muscle groups and feeling the burn. The moves are always changing, which keeps things fresh and challenging.
One thing clients would be surprised to know about you? I was a gymnast for 12 years!
Favorite mantra: βLet go of what you canβt controlβ
Three of my favorite things: Having a cozy crockpot meal simmering on a fall Sunday; enjoying a clean home with the diffuser setting the perfect vibe; and spending quality time outside with my family.
